Hot from the CES 2013, Archos is releasing its next-gen version of 13.3-inch tablet, the Family Pad 2. No fixed release date and pricing details yet. But if you think 10-inch tablet are not big enough, you definitely should consider this tablet.
Apparently, the new model comes equipped with a speedier Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A9 central processing unit operating at a frequency of 1.6GHz (the original FamilyPad has a 1GHz Cortex chip) and the same 13.3-inch capacitive In-Plane Switching (IPS) 10 points multi-touch display of 1280-by-800 pixels native resolution.
Users are further provided with 1GB of internal RAM, 16GB of flash storage (instead of 8GB), G- Sensor and dual cameras (2MP rear camera & 2MP front-facing web cam). Based on an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the FamilyPad 2 features a mini HDMI interface, one micro USB port, a microSDHC media card reader slot and a Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n radio.
